Disabling UEFI boot mode to boot with legacy - no OS found error

[ Edited ]

Hi,

Elitebook 8460p bios version f.41

I have windows 7 installed, and I need to disable UEFI mode to be able to install encyrption software.

When I disable UEFI bios mode from the bios, it does not recognize my OS Win7, and stops after post screen.

Is there any way to use my win7 installation with legacy support?

Thanks

There's been no answer to this, and I need it too, now.  This new "bios" (I know it's not called that anymore...) is driving me up the wall.  It ahs single-handedly ruined the cloning procedure I've been using for several Years.  We will not use Windows 8.x, and need to be able to easily image a PC with WIndows 7 Enterprise.  How can I disable this thing so I can resume production?
