Adding an SSD to the ProBook 6455b

I'm thinking of adding an SSD to my ProBook 6455b to speed it up. I understand that I will need to replace the previous HDD because this laptop only has one bay. Are there any considerations that should be taken when choosing an SSD for this model? How do I know if the SSD will be compatible?

Thanks,

Bumping this thread in case anyone out there knows about this. Are there any compatibility considerations when choosing an SSD to the ProBoox 6455b?

Thanks

Re: Adding an SSD to the ProBook 6455b

Coming back in n case others were wondering the same thing. I ended up buying a 120 Gb Adata S510 SATA III. I removed the original HDD and installed this SSD instead. No issues so far--- it is working well and speed (both at startup and during normal use) has improved significantly.

Did you need any special mounting hardware?
