Can anyone please help me. I can't seem to find sound and graphics drivers for my HP Compaq nx9110. They are not even available in the website. Or you can give me a technique as to how I can adjust screen resolution and play music on my laptop.

Hi Russel,
Audio: Try this thread:
http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/bizsupp ort/questionanswer.do?threadId=1323420
You may also want to try the Vista 32-bit driver from the nc6220 - looks like a "generic" SoundMAX AC97 Audio driver.
Video:
Ouch...looks like ATI never developed drivers for Vista (and thus W7 too). And, since the system is based on an ATI IGP chipset (Mobility Radeon 9000), this could present other low-level issues as there's no proper chipset support installed (again, no support for the Mobility Radeon 9000 in Vista/W7). Best solution is to roll-back to Windows XP. But, if you're willing, you could try this:

I would say it's sketchy at best - the windows 7 driver model is completely different than Vista's or XP's. Win 7 can use some Vista drivers, but not XP drivers.
Good luck!

For the video, you can try this mobility modding tool which converts the latest ATI desktop video driver to one that will work on laptops.
Rather than running it in Windows 7, I would download the latest ATI desktop W7 driver onto an XP computer and run the mod tool so you don't have to fool around with turning off that user account control. Then just put the modded driver on a flash drive, plug the flash drive into your laptop and run it from there. That is how I did it. But you need to download Microsoft MSXML 6.0 from Micorosoft on for an XP-based PC first before running the mod tool. There is link to that site right on the mod instructions page above. Running the tool was easy.
Seems to have met with much success with many users.

For the audio, perhaps you can try this one for Windows Vista...

For the audio driver make sure you click on the download link that says "External Mirror." (right side of page)
You don't want to download that softward on the left side of the page -- trial driver update software tha you have to pay for.

One other thing, Russel:
The ATI Mobility Radeon won't run all the graphics features of Windows 7 such as Aero as it is not a DirectX 9 capable card amongst other shortcomings.
Specs on the chip are at the link below:
