The latest version of the Intel embedded nic drivers for the 6560b is http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/templat
have you tried this driver? if it does not work, how does it fail?

I'm glad that you're working for HP, but can you make needed changes...
I haven't tried this on 6560b, but on 6460b instead.Considering the "differences" between the models, does it matter?
I've installed the latest network drivers for Win 8.1 64bit on Windows 2012 R2 few minutes ago, and result was: NOTHING = no LAN adapter found..
These are called ProBook series, which should mean (in my experience so far) that a lot of IT professionals (or students) are using those or Elite series (i'll get to other series in next question) for work. Now, maybe someone has a need for a server installation on their laptop, or HP thinks that that does not happen in this universe? :-) I set drivers to work, and not thanks to HP customer support section. Is it so "hard" to add server section, in order to improve customer product experience and satisfaction and lower number of un-needed support requests?
