EliteBook 8730w: turn off webcam activity LED

Greetings!

Do you have any ideas on a way to turn off webcam activity LED of HP EliteBook 8730w (FU472EA#ACB)?

I use it a lot in dark conditions and the light-blue LED literally drills into my eyes.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi,

The light should be off when you disable the camera.

I think it is hard wired and there is no way to switch it off while the camera is on.

For me It's very pitty to accept...
This light-blue LED really makes bad job for eyes, especially in dark room.
