Compaq TC1100 stuck in endless loop, won't boot up

One day I found my computer stuck in a loop where it said windows did not start normally, and giving me the options of starting in safe mode, etc. But It just repeats that screen no matter which choice I make with the up and down arrows. It does run through a quick series of messages, something about multi disc. Then a blue screen flashes by so fast I can't read it. Then it's back to counting down seconds from 30 to one, before Windows starts. Then I get the same error message about Windows not starting properly.

If you have the original disks put the first one in and select the repair option and follow the instructions.

Thank you, I will try that. I think I do have the discs.

Hit F8 to enter the boot menu and disable Automaticly Restart on Failure. The system will halt on the error.
