I´d like to monitor the temperature of a A5800 series. Therefore I went to IMC:
IMC >> Resource >> Global Index Settings >> Add Custom Index
OID should be: 188.8.131.52.4.1.25506.2.6.1.184.108.40.206.92
Unfortunately, I cannot get the correct "Type"
Type : [index1:temperature:1:0]
Instance label: 220.127.116.11.4.1.25506.2.6.1.18.104.22.168
...it works for me, I can select instance 92 from the list.
The above is hard to work with when using IRF stacks tho, I found the below makes it easier - it renames the instance numbers to the irf member IDs.
Name: <any name>
Instance Label (definition OID): 22.214.171.124.4.1.25506.2.91.3.1.2
... if you're interested, you can get the names of all the instances shown under 126.96.36.199.4.1.25506.2.6.1.188.8.131.52 and what they relate to, by using the entity-MIB as the instance label, as below
Instance Label (definition OID): 184.108.40.206.220.127.116.11.18.104.22.168
instance 92 (22.214.171.124.4.1.25506.2.6.1.126.96.36.199.92) shows up as temperature::board - since HP A switches refer to themselves as 'boards' on the cli
