nnmtrapconfig.ovpl

Hi Experts,

If I want to block the traps from the specific node, what is the option used with nnmtrapconfig.ovpl and also if I want to set the trap limit  for specific node or for all the nodes, how should I do it.

Please advice.

Re: nnmtrapconfig.ovpl

To block traps , its easier to use the /var/opt/OV/shared/nnm/conf/trapFilter.conf file... that way the system drops them before they are inserted into the correlation process.

To set the individual device rate use this trigger

[hostedObjectThreshold <traprate>] If a hosted objects trap rate is
greater than this threshold its traps
                                              will be suppressed.

Have a nice day :)
