Using NNM with ECS to filter SNMP traps

I am writing an ECS circuit to filter SNMP traps. Inside this circuit I can access various fields of an SNMP trap ("enterprise", "specific-trap", "variable-bindings[x].value") and place those values into an AlarmEvent for presentation to my users. The problem is, I must retype into this circuit, information that I've already used NNM to load into $OV_CONF/snmpmib. This may not be the right forum to ask this question, but does anyone know how to access information that lives inside the snmpmib file, such as:
DESCRIPTION
--#SUMMARY
--#ARGUMENTS
--#STATE
from inside the ECS circuit I've written?

Thanks in advance.
