Time for ping

I am running OV NNM and want to check machines more frequently than the default seems to be with the ICMP echo message. Is there something I can change that so that this happens more often that the default, whatever it may be?

Re: Time for ping

The NNM use ICMP ping to test the TCP. If the device is support SNMP, there's a method to check the node according to your settings. In menu 'polling configuration', you can set polling intervals to all the nodes in maps. If special nodes to be monitored specially, in menu 'SNMP configuation', set the node IP address and configure the SNMP polling interval that can monitor specified nodes.
By the way, you can configure 'data collection' to some nodes that can make you monitor there network performance continually.
