Stopping the event correlation in monitoring the devices

I have few set of servers which i want to monitor for node up or down. As per i know whenever a device goes down NNMi will find the Root cause and will never alert if the actual device is not down.  I do not want this to happen in case of a set of devices, i.e NNMi should also alert if the End device is not down but the intermediate devices are down, I.e No event correlation should take place. Any Help will be appreciated.

Hello  OMW

You  can double check the causal engine document to verify how the correlations work.

Re: Stopping the event correlation in monitoring the devices

Hello there,

you can add the "special" servers or devices to the "Important Nodes" nodegroup.

Then a "node down" event is forced to be created, even if the status normally would become "unknown" due to correlation.

 Best regards,
