Node interface status changing from Not Managed to Inherited automatically

Hi Experts,

We are using NNM 9.22(Patch 3). We have observed that for some Nodes interface status is changing automatically from Not Managed to Inherited. We are unable to figure out how it is changing automatically.

Please suggest.

TIA

Hi,

Try to set the status using nnmmanagementmode.ovpl command.. Hope this helps to fix your issue.

Vishnu,

Already tried to change it from GUI and command line without any luck.

Any other clue?

Thanks

Re: Node interface status changing from Not Managed to Inherited automatically

So exactly is this interface in question ?  A sub interface of a physical, a chanel off of a larger interface (like a POS or T3), an interface off of an unmanaged card ?

Is is L2 connected to another device in the inventory ?   What are the monitoring settings applied to it ?

Have a nice day :)
