NPS iSPI Reporting menu

Hi,

 

While installing iSPI, if any of the steps fails. Installer warns you to re-run the failed steps from the command line to finish the initialization through initializeNPS.ovpl

 

I have installed the NPS ispi successfully without any error, and I was able to access the reporting menu, all the menus in the Reports were available

 

When I check the initializeNPS.ovpl every action listed shows successful.

 

Then I rerun intializeNPS.ovpl on the succeeded actions, all the actions got restarted and showed the same result as “success” but after this when I checked Actions—HP NNM iSPI Performance---Report Menu—Reports, many of the folders are gone, only I can see User Groups, Myfolders and admin folders (other folders like iSPI Metrics, Quicklaunch reports all these are missing).

 

StatusALL.ovpl is also working fine.

Did you run the enablement script on NNMi servers ?

try the Report Menu from Programs > HP NNM ISIP Performance Metric >Report Menu ,

 

If that not working , you will have  NNM server can not located error ! IF you didn't enable NNM Integration 

 

You can do the following 

 

1. Log on to the NNMi management serverwith administrative privileges.


2. Run the nnmenableperfspi.ovpl script from the %NnmInstallDir%\bindirectory.

 

Follow the instructions , after that check the configuration utility in ISPI , check the Configuration test ..

Hi,

 

Enablement script is already enabled, reporting menu was working fine but when I rerun the intializeNPS.ovpl in Reporting menu--reports all the folders are not available.

 

What is the use intializeNPS.ovpl

 

where are these menus stored which services will update these reporting menus.

Which NPS version you have ?! till which patch level .

 

for  intializeNPS.ovpl command what does it do , i can not find any info related to that command , so it's good to know as well .
