NNMi version: 9.20 patch 4
OS: Redhat Linux
Can we suppress the bulk of alerts before it reaching to NNMi console.
We have suppress option in snmp trap configuration and management event configuration, but it is for specific event or specific OID.
Please suggest the option or script that can stop the bulk alerts before it reaching to NNMi console.

You can configure either of the following two files in the "conf" directory:
both these files use the same syntax and can be configured with wildcarded trap OIDs. Each file has an explanation of the syntax. The trapFilter.conf entries are screened out earlier than traps in the nnmtrapd.conf file so you will want to use trapFilter.conf.
All the best
