NNMi Payload filter to exclude some traps before running a script

Dear all,

I would like to get rid of some traps containing unrelevant information prior to execute an action that launch a script.

I thought that the Payload filter on the Action tab would fits my needs...

Unfortunately I cannot find the good combo to have it done,

Basically I would like to stop the script to be executed if the variable 5 ($5) contains the word "login", but if not it has to run as usual.

I tried several options, but all is executing the script...

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks

Dear Hirt

If you are trying to run a script then run the script under "Actions" tab in Incident configuration.

Please try to do following in your script ( Posted example contains references to Unix shell script )

if [ $5 != "login" ]; then

....Do your actions here
