Re: NNMI 9.22 and NPS export for NFS

It depends on what your server OS pairings are

*nix-> Windows    =SAMBA

Windows->Windows = Windows remote directory

*nix -> *nix =  NFS

I use the last pairing Redhat to Redhat and here's my entry in /etc/export on the NNMI HA cluster:

/nnmshare/NNM/dataDir/shared/perfSpi/datafiles      sqprisp3.gronk.wibble.fake.com(rw,sync,no_root_squash)

Have a nice day :)

Re: NNMI 9.22 and NPS export for NFS

My servers are unix

I think I found my problem. On the both side NNMi et NPS it is the account root who is working the the repository

Bu in the HP script /opt/OV/misc/nnm/ha/nnmhadisk.ovpl the option no_root_squash is not used

I add it and now it's working

What do you think a bout that ?

I have open a case at the support and I am waiting to see if i's a bug

Best Regards

Serge

Re: NNMI 9.22 and NPS export for NFS

I installed both applications on each server as root and ran the enableperfspi as root also.  So the script created the mountpoint.

Have a nice day :)
