NNM security

Hi all,

I have some security questions about NNM web access.
After, we have initially setup the user, pwd, roles for web/dynamic views.

1- Is there any way in NNM for users/groups to define/change there own passwords in encrypt format to access the web interface.

2- For security concerns is it only MD5 method for encrypt pwd in NNM?

3- Also can we able use ADS mechanism ids somehow for access web login to NNM?

Please suggest how we can secure at highest levels with encryption method access on NNM 7.5 or even 8.0 version.

Thanks in Advance,
imak

Re: NNM security

Hi,

Yes, DVs in ET are secured. I hope these two documents could help: $OV_WWW/C/Manuals/Configuring_SSL_for_DynamicViews.pdf and UsageET.pdf
