NNM iSPI (9.10) Report issue (not collecting new data from nodes.)

Hi Experts,

We are using NNM 9.10 with iSPI 9.10 (patch level 2) which is installed on same server, For some region we have formatted the server, and re-installed NNM & iSPI on same server as it was earlier.

We restored NNM  and iSPI backup which was taken before NNM got formatted.  Post the restoration we are getting iSPI report only for restored data, iSPI is not collecting new data from nodes.

NNM  installed on windows 2K8 Enterprise server.

I need a solution as soon as possible,  Any help would be highly appreciated... :-)

 Thanks in advance …

 Regards,

Rohit

Re: NNM iSPI (9.10) Report issue (not collecting new data from nodes.)

Hello Rohit,

Firstly, check if the nodes are being polled for performance data. Take one node and do a status poll.

Since you have mentioned that you re-installed NNM and restored the previous backup, I was wondering if you re-ran Performance SPI enablement script (nnmenableperfspi.ovpl) on NNMi?

Re: NNM iSPI (9.10) Report issue (not collecting new data from nodes.)

Hello ,

please check the shared Directory between NNM and ISPI , always there are some issues in sharing ,

%NNMDataDir%/shared\perfSpi\datafiles\metric\final ,

check how many files are there , if you are getting alot of files there , that means ISPI dosen't poll the perofrmance Data files ,

check sharing directory from ISPI Directly .

All the best .
Saying Thanks by hitting Kudos :)
