Re: NNM - SMTP

Hi PProcopi

NNM does not provide a native mail interface. On Windows, you can make use of public domain mailer tools such as 'blat'. On Unix platforms, you can use the normal mail command (sendmail must be setup of course).

You may want to follow this document: http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM88369 and http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM793321 , latter contains a sample script showing the 'blat' functionalities. This can easily be adapted for NNM 6.41 needs.

Please also note that NNM 6.41 is no more supported by HP. NNM 7.53 will be supported till end of 2012 and is the last NNM Classic released. You may want to consider upgrading to NNMi release 9.11 in the near future.
