Life Cycle state.

Hi Experts,

NNMi is getting some incidents with "UP" event but life cycle is not changing to state "CLOSED".

From long time incidents are having "REGISTERED" state only.

eg: bfdSessUp

Is there anyway to change the lifecycle state through command ? so that i can use it in script action.

Any other way ? Pls suggest.

NNMi Version : 9.23 on RHEL

Thanks,
Bharath

Re: Life Cycle state.

Configure Pairwise   BFD down with BFD up.

Have a nice day :)

Re: Life Cycle state.

Yes Andy, that is already configured and working fine. Most are getting closed.

But for some bfdSessUp traps life  cycle state is still "Registered" !

Thanks,

Re: Life Cycle state.

That is strange! RCA should interpret the pairwise  BFD link up as the RCA close event.  Looking at the documentation its a bit ambigious as it specifies it "cancels" the event when the second condtion is recieved, not "closes".

My only suggestion otherwise would be to enable the "delete when Canceled" option

Have a nice day :)
