Java heap size error in mpls ispi

Hi Guys,

 

iSPI for MPLS starts giving attached error while selecting LSR Inventory and other workspace under MPLS.

 

When i have checked the mpls jboss log file i am getting java heap size error.

 

i tried with the option "encryptmplspasswd.ovpl" command and got no success.

 

Please help he out to solve the issue.

Should be easy to remedy by increasing your  java heap size. The MPLS SPI , just like NNMi main, like to build arrays in memory.

thanks for ur quick response i have increased the heap size in nms-mpls.jvm.properties but its not solve the issue.

Its not a matter of just adding just a bit more, its dependant on the number of contexts, polling interval, VRFs, CEs and PEs.

 

What are your associated numbers for those, and how much memory to you have allocated to the MPLS spi JVM heap ?

can u please elaborate little bit more.

 

I have given 16GB of max heap size which is earlier 2 GB.

Im having difficulty getting across information on how determining many objects you are trying to collect information from. How many virtualized routing and forwarding instances (VRF) containing how many provider edge (PE) and Custtomer Edge (CE) routers, and what frequency are the requests being generated at what concurrancy  (how many at a time)
