How to remove a node manually?

I have a node in Network Node Manager that I want to remove. How can I do so?

It was a Cisco device that was registered automatically by SNMP statements.

I have removed all the SNMP statements in that Cisco device and disconnected it from the network.

However the node is still showing up as NODE DOWN - Critical Incident.

It keeps sending alerts to me. How can I remove that node and stop the alerts? thanks.
