I have a sitiuation where we have C programs developed and running under HP NNM 7.53 SNMP API and now have to move them over to run on newer HP servers with NNMi 9.x environment.
So the question I have is does the new HP server with NNMi 9.x support the old C language SNMP API calls?
If not, is there equivalent replacement calls provided in the new SDK or something?
How do we migrate these programs over to run under the new HP NMMi 9.x ?
To give you an example and point of reference if it helps, here are some SNMP API calls and include header files from HP NNM 7.53 API such as: (are these still available in NNMi 9.x) ?
(void *)NULL );
OVsnmpEventOpen(remote, /* OVEvent Server */
progname, /* entity name */
process_pdu, /* callback */
(void *) NULL, /* cb data */
fwdFilter ); /* event filter */

I'm also running into this with compiling some older C based HPOM customizations.
Does anyone know where I can get the OVsnmp.h file?
I have NNMi 9.0 and HPOM 9 and its not available in either package.

Considering NNMi is a complete rewrite of the codebase I think you'll need to take a look at the code exaples included with
HP Network Node Manager Software Developer license as the ecosystem paradiagm has signficanlty changed.
