HP NNMi 9 Problem - NnmTrapService has failed!

Hi Experts,

Since this is a different problem, i am creating a new topic.

Basically I am trying to integrate from HP OM 8.10 with patches: omw_00059 (installation patch) and omw_00006, omw_00016, omw_00057, omw_00060, omw_00071 to HP NNMi 9 with patch NNM900W_00001

i just found out that not all of my NNM services are running from ovstatus -v

In short, i have 2 problems (not sure if they are dependent to each other):

1. NnmAction: Exited because NNMAction service has stopped Exit(1)

2. NnmTrapService: Service has failed. Refer to
the com.hp.ov.nms.trapd.NnmTrapService log file for details.


How do i get these 2 up and running? i have tried restarting service using ovstart -c nnmaction, it works for a minute then it's stopped again.

I have also tried restarting the server with no luck.

And i have tried to find the log: com.hp.ov.nms.trapd.NnmTrapService log file from C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\HP\HP BTO Software\log\nnm

and i couldn't find trap.#.#.log and also statepoller.#.#.log

Lastly, i have made sure that SnmpTrapService is Disabled but SnmpService is started in NNMi Management Server.

Anyone can help? i am desperate lol...

I have resolved this problem by restarting jboss service.

ovstop -c ovjboss
ovstart -c ovjboss
