Get notified when an interface becomes administravetly down

Hi,

 

I'm uing NNMi 9.22 under windows, I get notified when interface goes down, is there a way that I get notified when someone shut down an interfaces i.e.administratively down?

Yes you can get notified for disable any interface , there is Event Management in NNM called

 

InterfaceDisabled .1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.17.19.2.0.18

 

you need to enable it

Thanks Mostafa for your help, i enabled this event and it worked
Is there a away to modify the alarm message keeping the same author "Network Node Manager"?

Good To hear that ,

 

For your questions , you can not , as if you modified the Alarm Message , the Event Will not be Out-of-the-Box from the Internal NNM , thus It will ask to change the Author to Customer ,

Thanks Mostafa,

Well after enabling the event i.e. right click --> enable event, the author changed to be customer instead of Network Node Manager, hence, i was able to modify the message.
