Re: Need to Reset the NA Administrator user password.

Hello,

This looks like a DB connectivity issue, not a password issue. Try to connect to the Oracle DB nas outside NA.

Nevertheless if you want to change the Admin NA USERID=1 password, via this SQL query (the new password will be opsware):

UPDATE RN_USER SET UserPassword = 'vyCs29Nqu2RaK0PuHnC5JFBApKU=' WHERE UserID = 1;

Let us know on the above.

Best regards,

Paul

Re: Need to Reset the NA Administrator user password.

Hi Expert,

Thanks for your reply.

Please confirm how to connect the NAS oracle database.

And also know is there any configuration file on application server  in which we have to add oracle DB details.

Thanks & Regards,

Re: Need to Reset the NA Administrator user password.

Hello,

The connection to the NA Oracle DB can be done in several ways (adjusting the DB username/password):

1) SQLPLUS directly on the Oracle Server: sqlplus USERNAME@nas

Then enter the password.

2) DB VISUALIZER: http://www.dbvis.com/, making a new connection using the IP: 172.1.4.121, PORT: 1521, SID: nas

Also type the password.

You can also contact the DBA Oracle team in order to assist as well.

Let us know on the above.

Best regards,

Paul

Re: Need to Reset the NA Administrator user password.

1)  Issue started after resetting the DB admin password.

2) Snapshot is attached for the error message we are getting while login in NA Web login.

I need to understand if we reset DB password does that affect anywhere in APplication login..

do we need to modify any of the configuration file?

Thanks

Re: Need to Reset the NA Administrator user password.

Hello,

In order to change the DB user credentials in NA, you need to do this:

1) Run the NA/client/tc_tools (sh or bat)

2) Select option 1 - Change database connection information

3) Change the DB credentials and hit <Enter> for the values you want to leave unchanged.

4) After this is done, select 4 - Exit.

5) Restart NA services.

Let us know on the above.

Thanks and regards,

Paul

Re: Need to Reset the NA Administrator user password.

Hello,

Great! :)

The tool tc_tools just writes the DB credentials encrypted in the NA/a.da file.

NA uses those credentials to make any DB connections.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks and regards,

Paul
