Issue with Installing NA 9.20 for Windows

Env: Windows 8

Perl and Java are installed

Administrator

 

Issue: When installing NA 9.20, I get the below error:

 

Invocation of this Application has caused an InvocationTargetException. This application will now exit. (LAX)

 

Stack Trace:

ZeroGur: Windows DLL failed to load

                    at ZeroGa4.b(DashoA10*..)

                    at ZeroGa4.b(DashoA10*..)

                    at com.zerog.ia.installer.LifeCycleManager.b(DashoA10*..)

I can not tell which version of Windows 8 you are running, Please look at the Network Automation 9.20 Support Matrix which you will find here: Network Automation 9.20 Support Matrix

Hello,

 

Thanks for use HP Software Forum. Would you please let me know what Perl and java version do you have installed?

 

On the other hand you mentioned that you are running the installer as an admin but it is a good option to right click on the install application and click on "Run as Administrator".

Thanks for your response. Would you please explain me a little more detail enviroment you are trying to install NA. Please let me know:

 

- Is it a fresh install?

- What OS version are you trying to install NA? Is it a Windows 8 maching or Windows Server 2008?

 

Here are the NA-Supported Operating Systems:

 

Operating System NA Application Supported Versions:

 

Windows Server 2008:
• x64 Datacenter Edition, SP2
• R2 x64 Datacenter Edition, SP1
• x64 Enterprise Edition, SP2
• R2 x64 Enterprise Edition, SP1
• x64 Standard Edition, SP2
• R2 x64 Standard Edition, SP1

Linux:
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server AS 4.0 or later minor version
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5.4 or later minor version through 5.6
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6.0 or later minor version
• SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9
• SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP1

 

Solaris:
