Re: Nas 1200s

Franco,

Network teaming is not supported and is not an option currently on the NAS 1200s.

Sorry for confirming the bad news..

Re: Nas 1200s

Franco,

Looking through specs, the NAS 2000s is the entry level NAS which is built on Proliant technology that supports and allows NIC Teaming if you need that ability. The limitation from what I can find is that the 1200s is OEM'd for HP and is not built on Proliant hardware that supports the Teaming.

Ciao,
Greg

Re: Nas 1200s

Shouldn't you be able to "Bridge" the two nic's (Windodws 2003 Server)

Re: Nas 1200s

I used the software from Dell site. It's actually Broadcom software and can be used on any hardware with compatible NICs. Here is the link:

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&cs=RC977746&l=en&s=fin&releaseid=R87745...

You can also find the same files in a package on HP website, but it's a larger download:

http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/hpcpqdt/us/download/21878.html

Make sure that you install the updated NIC drivers from the package.

Re: Nas 1200s

To install NIC Teaming on 1200s, install the BroadCom Advanced Server Program driver located on the 1200s at:
c:\Windows\System32\baspinst.exe
