Officejet 330

I have an Officejet 330 with a mechanical problem during initial self test. When the print head travels to the extreme left end of the carriage and contacts the small horizontal pawl lever below the print head travel path, there is a gear stripping sound and when the head returns to the right, the plastic covers between the paper feed rollers jam approx 3/4 of the way down. It appears the pawl lever is jammed between the scroll pjortion of the paper feed assembly and feed lock clutch. Because of the location, it's a difficult area to actively view and diagnose the problem. Suggestions?

Re: Officejet 330

Hi John,

It sounds as though your printer needs to be seen by an authorized service technician. Use this web site to help you find your closest one:

Good luck!
