OJ 8500 - Asking to Upgrade LCD list

All of sudden we can't scan with the OJ 8500 (previously we could). A message appears saying "LCD list needs to be updated". When we click ok another dialog box opens "Scan to..Setup (front panel list)". We click "Update Device" but nothing happens and we can't scan.

did you get a response? 240+ views and no response from technical support. pretty sad commentary. i have having the same problem.

Do you have more trhan one printer or printer driver installed?

 

Can you open the Solution Center on your desktop?  Does the scanner feature work from there or are you getting an error message?

 

What happens when you hit "SCAN" on the printer control panel?
