When I try to scan, my pages go through half-way, and it hangs. Then any scanning software you choose (including that which comes with Windows 7), says there is a jam, when their really isn't (and I have tried scanning brand new blank pages, even...same result).
HP...hello..anybody out there?

I work at HP regarding support content that publishes to hp.com. I am not technical but may be able to find someone that can help with this. Back to you very soon.

LaserJet 3050 had firmware 20060321 on it. I eventually found the *Vista* firmware updater:
and ran that under Windows 7 anyway....
Printer now has 20070331 and scans are working!
So as usual, if a reboot doesn't fix it, try the latest firmware :)
