HP M9050 MFP Tray 4 Jams

Hi Guys,

Have a problem with 6 new HP M9050 MFP's(CC395A). They are all getting intermittant paper jams from Tray 4(C8531A). The problem seams to occur when the paper runs low in Tray 4(Less than 100 A4 pages or so). Its not a roller issue as these are all new printers and the rollers are fine.

I have logged a call previously and replaced the PIU(Paper input unit) and the Paper Path module. The issue still remains after replacing these parts. The firmware is up to date and the paper being used is the correct spec.

The paper is stored in different locations around the building so it is not as if it could be damp.

When the printer jams the paper stops just as it is exiting tray 4.

The following are the errors that appear in the Event logs of the printers in question -

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appriciated. Thanks

Re: HP M9050 MFP Tray 4 Jams

If you have six of them with issues and they are new then you should be contacting hp customer care and insist they send someone to your location to check on these to get the situation rectified. The units should be under warranty and they come with on-site service. You should not be having to do anything with them.
