Any suggestions on what the problem could be?

I just received my CM2320 today. I removed all the orange tape, I checked the cartridges but everytime I restart the machine, I get the 59.f0 error.
The reply above states to check this and check that, but I'm not finding a schematic of this machine anywhere and do not know how where all this stuff is I'm supposed to check. I need some help before I box this back up and send it back.

I've checked everything listed and the documentation again.
This is extremely frustrating. And when part of the troubleshooting means one goes out to buy more items (such as more ink), it is plain robbery. No guarantee that it fixes, and if it does, it means the original cartridge that one payed for is bad.
What is a realistic diagnosis?

Me too: Error 59.f0 new out of the box.
I also removed all the orange tape and stuff and turned it on for the first time and the error: "59.F0 Error Turn off then turn back on" shows on the display. Doing that solves nothing.
HP Support offered an engineer visit or return, I chose return.
I see a pattern emerging here.

Must have been in too much of a rush to get the printer up and running....the problem was indeed a piece of orange tape over a cog on the optional paper tray (that comes with FXI model). Thanks to previous post by JS_KS for that tip - none of the HP guides point it out.
