2600 with 55.1 Error

I have a 2600 printer that has a 55.1 error displayed. I've turned it off and back on(2 days later) and plugged it directly into the wall. Nothing works. From browsing the forums I'm getting the idea that the DC controller needs to be replaced. Does anyone have any ideas about this? I really need this printer to work!

Re: 2600 with 55.1 Error

DC controller error. The device has
experienced an internal hardware error.

Check the engine (DCC) firmware version.
Update if needed. Replace the DCC if a
firmware upgrade does not resolve the issue.

Re: 2600 with 55.1 Error

Thanks so much. I'm a newbie at fixing printers(cars I don't have a problem with). I'll try doing the firmware upgrade on Monday(printer is at work).
