LP2475w cycles colors while sleeping

Recently my LP2475w started to go through a Red/Yellow/Blue cycle when it is supposed to be sleeping.  This causes it to get super hot and is probably running up my power bill.

I've looked through all the documents I can find and don't see anything that describes what this is or how to turn it back to normal.

The only change I have done recently was to plug a 2nd input into the monitor via DP - but this color cycle keeps happening now even when all the inputs are disconnected.

Appreciate any advice.

Try a monitor reset. Unplug the monitor’s power cord and hold down the monitor’s power button for 30-60 seconds. Plug the monitor back in and power it up.

Re: LP2475w cycles colors while sleeping

Hi there,

I am sorry to reactivate this old thread, but since yesterday I am facing the same issue.

Unfortunately, the trick with pulling the power cord and pressing the power button for a minute did not work.

Any ideas?
