Trouble replaying Oracle NCA script (button press takes a long time and expires during replay)

Hi,

 

We are evaluating LoadRunner (11.52 Patch1) for performance testing here at Croatia osiguranje d.d. and are having trouble replaying button presses that take a long time in Oracle NCA.

After some time, we get "Error: Error: ifError expired (n)". Here is a detailed log excerpt:

 If we set larger values for Oracle NCA Client Emulation Pragma Mode (e.g., Max retries or Retry interval) VuGen usually freezes during replay. Then we have to kill all HP processes (or restart the machine) in order to run the script again.

Any ideas how to overcome this?

Hi,

 

After setting of  larger values for Oracle NCA Client Emulation Pragma-Mode have you also cleared the "Enable Heartbeat" option within the Client Emulation settingsas suggested in the following KM:

Additional suggestion you can try is to enable the recording of objects by name.

Please follow the instructions enabling  the recording of objects by name in the LoadRunner User guide.

Hi Vesela,

 

Clearing the  "Enable Heartbeat" checkbox seems to have solved this problem for me. I've already done the recoding by name.

 

PS Since we are still evaluating the product and don't have previous (support) contracts, we can't access the linked documents.
