Load Runner Silent Install

Hi,

 

After running silent installation of Load Runner 11.0 on Windows 7 Bit, I noticed that the Agent Process is not running.

The Agent icon didn't appear at the tray like it does after normal installation.

 

Do you know why? Is this normal behavior\known issue.

Bring up your task manager, look for either magentproc.exe or magentservice.exe. It may be running as a service.

Hi,

 

magentproc.exe is running but the tray icon is missing only after silent install.

Does it means the agent runs as a service?

Magentproc.exe means it is running as a service. You can try switching it to service and to process using this article:

This may get the tray icon back.
