Differences between Siebel Web Vs Web(HTTP/HTML) protocols

Hi Folks,

I would like to know how feasible it is to record a script using LR Web Http/Html protocol for Siebel application rather using Siebel-Web? Also please let me know what is the difference between using Siebel-Web and Web http/html protocol used to record Siebel application.

Thanks,

Pathan

Re: Differences between Siebel Web Vs Web(HTTP/HTML) protocols

The difference is that its more optomized to work with Siebel CRM and perform these auto correlations. If the Siebel app uses HTTP communication you can record it with Web. You can record 2 versions of the same script and check the code see any differences appear and copy that same code over to a web script if differences are there.
