Browser Crash while Recording

Hi,

 

Can any one list all the factors which cause browser to crash (IE8) while recording script using Vugen 11.

 

 

I got my  IE8 crashed when I recorded my application using Vugen11.

Could be many things, not having admin rights, add ons on your browser, anti virus, the application itself  you are trying to record in the browser, you have to explore possibilities, see if its particular to what you are recording or if it is with everything.

Pls check Data Execution Prevention (DEP) status.

Hi ,

 

Exact problem is  a particular action in my application Example: When I click on a button a report will be generated and displayed in browser itself.   I got the same issue for the same action in two different applications. I have disabled  unnecessary add-ons, Cleared browser and system cache.  What will be the possible way to record an activity of report generation by an application.

You have to check your version of Vugen, see if being on latest patch help.
