AJAX TruClient Protocol with Firefox

[ Edited ]

Hello,

I have created a script using AJAX Truclient on Firefox. The script replays well, but it doesn't let me edit anything in it. It feels like read-only mode. It lets me take the cursor up and down, but can't type in or write anything in the script. The VuGen is not connected to any other tools and other HTTP/HTML scripts open up and let me edit just fine. How to overcome this problem?

Also, how to see the replay? I was hoping that a firefox window will pop open just like it did during recording.

Thank You

Hi,

In Ajax TruClient protocol, you cannot edit your script in vugen window. You can edit your script in develop mode and replay it.

Re: AJAX TruClient Protocol with Firefox

Thanks for your response.

Well, when I record the application I take my mouse all around the portal to click on different functionalities to be tested. But, when I replay the script I recorded, it shows an error:

t=00030129ms: Error -203256: ** 6.1: Move mouse over xxxxxxxxxxxxx JV ** failed - target object was not found.    [MsgId: MERR-203256]

I want to try removing this step and see how the script behaves in order to overcome it.

Can you suggest me how to do this ?

Thanks

The question is how to remove a step from the script? if so, click on it and press delete.

Well, I tried pressing the Delete button, it doesn't work. It does nothing. :(
