AJAX TruClient IE - dealing with javascript:void(0)

I have an AUT that has some nav buttons with javascript links with explicit HREF values, and some that have an HREF value of javascript:void(0), and the action in the onclick statement.

The problem is that nothing happens when TruClient clicks on the javascript:void(0) buttons.

FACTS:

Works in IE

Step records correctly

Object is identified correctly

HTTP protocol can invoke the action

Has anyone else run across this? Any solution?

Re: AJAX TruClient IE - dealing with javascript:void(0)

Hi,

When you are saying that "nothing happens when TruClient clicks on the javascript:void(0) buttons" i guess you are talking about replay, am I right?

In which TruClient protocol are you using, FireFox or IE?

"Works in IE" - did you verified that the page is IE9 standard compliant ? (in order to check it you can look in my explanation in this link - http://www.linkedin.com/groupItem?view=&gid=4539324&type=member&item=210638448&qid=9c6e6b80-9c96-42f...)

Thanks

Re: AJAX TruClient IE - dealing with javascript:void(0)

Sorry - I neglected to specify that I was using TruClient for IE.

I have since moved over to TruClient for Firefox, and the issue has evaporated.
