Dear HPUX lovers,
OS: HP UX 11.31 V3
I want to set "ip_send_source_quench" to 0.
I think the command for this is:
#ndd -set /dev/ip ip_send_source_quench 0
Is the the change will be permanent?
To make the change permanent waht should be done?
nddconf does contain any entry for ip_send_source_quench.
ndd -f shows the param.

If you just change the setting with the ndd command, the change will not be permanent: when the system is rebooted, the default value will be used again.
To make it permanent, you must add the setting to /etc/rc.config.d/nddconf in the form of three lines:
TRANSPORT_NAME=ip NDD_NAME=ip_send_source_quench NDD_VALUE=0
Note: if the /etc/rc.config.d/nddconf file already has some other settings configured, you should replace in the above lines with the number of the highest-numbered existing setting +1.
