PASCAL - compiler option CONVERT_MPE_NAMES

Does the PASCAL compiler option CONVERT_MPE_NAMES work with the $Search 'stdtypes.stdobj '$?

The HPDOCS WEB site states (The CONVERT_MPE_NAMES compiler option converts file names in the BUILDINT, INCLUDE, LISTINTR, and SYSINTR compiler options from MPE format to HP-UX format.)

Re: PASCAL - compiler option CONVERT_MPE_NAMES

Hello Stephen,

I've discussed with the PASCAL compiler team.

If you have a name like myfile.group, the CONVERT_MPE_NAMES compiler option will change it to /group/myfile.

stdtypes.stdobj would look like /stdobj/stdtypes

stdobj - directory name
stdtypes = the name of the file.

Not too many folks use this. To really see how it works, you might test it out.

stdtypes.stdobj does not seem to be a MPE type so CONVERT_MPE_NAMES would not return what you may have expected.
