HP-Supported JBoss SPI is now available

For a very long time, HP offered a “gallery” SPI for JBoss.  Gallery SPIs are basically SPIs you can download from the hp.com website that are free, but not supported by HP.  Furthermore, they have not been put through the rigorous testing of our other fully-supported SPIs nor have they been maintained such that they are supported on the latest version of platforms, etc.

We recently released a fully-supported JBoss SPI, which can be found on the left hand side of our SPI catalog page.  This SPI has the following features:

  • Comprehensive logfile monitoring of JBoss EAP (Enterprise Application Platform 4.2, 4.3, and 5)
  • 10 application tools for JBoss EAP
  • Monitor events from the JBoss server logfile
  • Monitors more than 40 performance metrics
  • Check availability of JBoss application server
  • Start and stop JBoss application server

Feel free to learn more about this SPI by visiting its standalone page on the hp.com website.
