How to perform an IDOL Backup

Hi guys,

Just thought this could be something you might be interested in, this is a guide on Implementing a Scheduled Backed of the IDOL Content.

See the attached Technote, this applies to RM 8 but could work with 7 if required.

Re: How to perform an IDOL Backup

Useful stuff, thanks Greg.

One extra thing that would be useful is the RESTORE procedure.

Or is it as simple as stopping all IDOL, and then copying the backed up files over the top of the relevant ones? Methinks that talk of compression means that it is not that simple...

Mike.

Re: How to perform an IDOL Backup

Good question, I'll see if this document can be updated or another detailed Restore document can be created. I'll keep you posted
