I don't know if that means it was never exported?  Or because of ordering, it couldn't be re-exported?

What does "more /etc/xtab" show?

/var/opt/ignite/recovery/archives/igniteserver -anon=2,access=igniteserver
/var/opt/ignite/recovery/archives/guest1 -anon=2,access=guest1
/var/opt/ignite/recovery/archives/guest2 -anon=2,access=guest2
/var/opt/ignite/recovery/archives/guest3 -anon=2,access=guest3
.

I don't see /var/opt/ignite/recovery/archives in your list.  Is it in the "..." part?

You seem to be exporting subdirectories and not the top?
