Multiple versions exist after upgrading Ignite UX

OS is 'HP-UX localhost B.11.31 U 9000/800' and after the latest depo install:

 

root@localhost # swlist | grep -i ignite
  IGNITE                                           C.7.18.63      HP-UX Installation Utilities (Ignite-UX)
  Ignite-UX-11-11                       C.7.10.472     HP-UX Installation Utilities for Installing 11.11 Systems

 

Question: Do we really need the Utilities for 11.11 Systems? There are none on our network by the way.

This is a common problem with some older versions. I would swremove all versions of Ignite (ie, swlist | grep -i ignite) and then reinstall the latest version. The extra filesets can cause future problems. Note: swremove will not remove any settings and backups if this is an Ignite server.
