Re: Ignite backup on dual lair DVD failed with error

How large is the file /var/opt/ignite/media/pseudo_root/archives/2013-04-04,11:30puinfapp01.ia.gz?

It appears that it is too large to go onto the DVD.

Re: Ignite backup on dual lair DVD failed with error

The only way to reduce the file size is to back up less data from VG00.

6 GB sounds awfully large for a compressed backup of VG00.  Are you including volume groups other than VG00 in your backup?  Is there anything included in VG00 that doesn't need to be?
