Downloading ignite package

I've been trying to download ignite for 3
days. I get to the disclaimer page, and click accept, and haven't gotten further.

I also tried ftp'ing to the website listed in the ignite docs. No luck there either. Is the download site hosed??

Re: Downloading ignite package

Rich:

This is the URL for Ignite:

http://www.software.hp.com/products/IUX/

If you are having problems downloading from this link you might try clicking the ASSISTANCE button on the left (here at the ITRC) and submit a query about your problems.

Re: Downloading ignite package

I turned off passive mode, and finally got
it. HP's server doesn't like passive mode
ftp clients apparently. Thanks for you help.

Re: Downloading ignite package

You could be hacing firewall issues which does happen on some sites. I do not know how to fix that specifically but you can obtain Ignite UX from the Application CD

HP-UX Application Release September 2000 or any before this date.

Ignite-UX 11.0 Sep. 00 B5725AA B.2.5.136 S

Re: Downloading ignite package

For future reference...

There are three places to obtain Ignite/UX:

1. http://www.software.hp.com/products/IUX/download.html
2. # ftp software.external.hp.com
3. Or order the media (Application CD) on-line at the ITRC.

Glad you were able to ftp the software!!!
