Save the date for the upcoming HP Software EMEA Customer Forum

We are continuing the successful format of the HP Software Customer Forum, and you won’t want to miss it. This is your opportunity to dig deeper into four of our most popular HP Software solution areas during the week of May 5 in Istanbul:

  • May 6-7: IT Service and Portfolio Management (SPM)
  • May 6-7: Application Delivery Management (ADM)
  • May 7-8: Automation and Cloud Management (ACM)
  • May 7-8: Business Service Management (BSM)

Today, I am focusing on the Service and Portfolio Management (SPM) part of the customer forum. These discussions will cover:

What will you gain?

The HP SPM Customer Forum is a strategy and best practice sharing event for HP SPM customers from a variety of industry verticals across EMEA. With two days fully dedicated to the SPM subject, the SPM Customer Forum provides an ideal arena to:

  • Come together with your peers to share success stories
  • Discuss ideas, latest trends, challenges, solutions and achievements around ITSM and PPM
  • Join HP customers, HP partners, as well as HP executives and product experts to get a wide range of viewpoints

This short video will help you get an impression of attendees’ thoughts from the last customer forum in Vienna.

What kind of stories/presentations can you expect?

There is a full list of presentations and customers from the last customer forum on this blog. Here are two examples from the September 2013 customer forum in Vienna:

  • Checkout this video where Roy Breems, Service Manager for ASR Netherlands, discusses how the insurer optimizes quality and speed while reducing IT costs by using HP Service Manager, HP Universal CMDB, HP Asset Manager and HP Release Control.
  • Download this case study from Turkey’s leading retailer, Migros, and learn how HP ITSM improves service partner collaboration, reducing downtime of in-store assets to keep customers loyal while dealing with rapid growth.

Would you like to attend? Are you interested in sharing your SPM story?

If you are interested in attending the customer forum, please contact your local HP Representative. If you would like to share your HP SPM story with your peers you can also drop me a line. Presentations are typically 30 minutes long and have a focus on aspects like business drivers and objectives, IT strategy and initiatives, solution approach, implementation and values/benefits achieved.

I plan to keep you posted as the agenda builds. For now, save the date.

Have a nice day,

I forgot to mention one thing ...

There is a least one more reason if you are still hesitant to sign up for the event:

Would you like to assess your infrastructure & operations maturity? On Thursday, May 8, HP offers a complimentary, hands-on interactive maturity workshop featuring Gartner. HP leverages maturity models to help shape product development and to assist HP customers to maximize the business return from their programs with HP.

In this 2-hour workshop, featured analyst Ian Head, Research Director at Gartner, will show you how to use the Gartner model for developing a roadmap to improve your infrastructure & operations. At the end of the workshop, you will have an estimate of your maturity and a set of potential key improvement areas.

HP Customers who register for the HP SPM Customer Forum May 6-7 are offered the option to register for one of two Gartner workshops on May-8. Registrations are handled on a first-come, first-served base.
